24 Finnish acts added to Provinssi lineup

Early Bird and Free Bird tickets on sale until end of December.

It’s like unwrapping all the Christmas gifts at once! The program of Provinssi grows with 24 Finnish top bands and artists. The countdown towards next summer accelerates as Provinssi’s program expands with 24 top acts. This coming Friday, we celebrate the day of Finnish Music, and with this in mind, we are delighted to finally announce that beloved Finnish favorites will conquer Seinäjoki’s Törnävänsaari in June 2024. Next summer, we will witness a genre-crossing and timely selection of Finnish music legends and emerging fresh talents.

In addition to the already released pop lineup enjoyed by the massive popularity of BEHM and KUUMAA, next year will see the release of new music from Iisa, Pariisin Kevät, and Ellinoora. Fresh pop melodies will also be served by the rapidly rising stars pehmoaino, Aliisa Syrjä, and YleX Breakthrough 2023 winner Bee, as well as the folk-pop duo emma & matilda. Making a return to Törnävänsaari is the legendary blue and white voice Katri Helena, preparing for the last festival summer of her career, and the Finnish rock canon’s Dave Lindholm, seen in Provinssirock already in 1980.

Nominated for the Best Festival in Arthur Awards 2024, Provinssi builds up the lineup with multiple genres.

Alongside Gasellit, who have earned their place at the forefront of Finnish rap, Provinssi will also feature ibe, known for his masterful and sharp use of language. He rose to become the most listened-to artist on Spotify in Finland this year and will also arrive at Törnävänsaari! Representing the current most popular music genre in our country are Yeboyah, shaking structures with electrifying live energy, Ege Zulu & Swengarit, titled the messenger of afrotrap, and Etta and BÄMÄ, rewriting the history of Finnish rap.

Looking for more alternative side of the music scene? Go for Maustetytöt, who gained international attention through Aki Kaurismäki’s film “Kuolleet lehdet,” and the sincerely emotional Antti Autio. Making their debut at Provinssi are Altamullan Road, formed by Johanna Iivanainen and Johanna Kurkela, and the boldly guitar-driven Tinyhawk & Bizzarro, praised for their fresh and unique sound.

Strengthening the heavier music lines of Provinssi’s program are Mokoma, releasing their 12th album “Myrsky” in March, the newest metal phenomenon Stoned Statues, and Lähiöbotox, delivering rap-infused nu-metal.
